The existing hall had become too small to host village festivals. 4.5 metres wide, defined by two long blind walls 14 metres long and lit only at the ends, extending this hall would be equivalent to creating a long dark corridor.
This is why we proposed to build a second room on the garden with more balanced proportions, very bright with a view of the wooded edge that runs along the banks of the Arce. The initial budget only provided for an extension of the existing building, to be able to offer a new room to the village, we rationalized and reduced the construction elements to the essentials, no false ceilings, polished concrete on the floor, the perforated insulation support trays also treat the acoustics, ...
The peripheral awning extends the room outside on the South and East facades, which are entirely made up of full-height sliding frames.
