Ateliers des Lacs d'Orient

This is a building for the technical services of the Forêt d'Orient park. The functional articulation of the program resulted in an organizational solution around a courtyard. This arrangement creates a building with two faces. With a very open interior: generous awnings, wide sectional doors and sliding frames.

On the closed exterior, facades made of several skins, filters: first the full facade of the building, then the vegetation and then the wire mesh structure. Seen from the outside the building disappears, it is camouflaged behind the hedgerow made up of hornbeams, wild cherry trees, Scots pines and white vine clematis.
