Maison Rouge
The house is part of a subdivision plot, from the street, it appears as a conventional orthogonal volume with rendered facades. On the garden side, the corner of the house is cut, thus creating a "false patio" with an irregular shape, this provides a feeling of intimacy. The facets give the impression of enlarging the interior spaces by multiplying the views of the exterior, all the rooms overlook the patio, it benefits from a good exposure (East and South) and a privileged view of the forest.
Protected, this space is like an extension of the house outside. We have optimized a mixed construction system, walls in insulating honeycomb brick and exposed roofing in galvanized metal frame and waterproofing support tray.
