Poste Central de Sécurité du Centre Hospitalier de Troyes
Troyes hospital wanted to move its Central Security Post because its agents are frequently called upon to intervene in emergency rooms for cases of violence and incivility towards caregivers.
The new PC had to have a direct view of the emergency room to facilitate surveillance and be easily identifiable, in order to create a deterrent effect. Thus, the PC had to move to a building from the eighties made of prefabricated concrete. Being structural, the existing façade did not allow us to create a large enough opening to see and be seen clearly. We therefore decided to hang the security PC cantilevered from this façade. A lightweight structure, covered in glass and aluminium, allowing people to see and be seen from the CHT emergency room.
