Created in 2009 by Frédéric Hérard and Natalina da Costa.

Hérard et Da Costa architectes is an architecture firm based in Troyes in the Aube region.

The workshop has acquired experience on very diverse programs from both public (local authorities, public institutions, public markets) and private sources, in the context of renovations as well as new constructions.

It is a deliberately generalist workshop, applicable to all types of programs and in all types of contexts.

We explore projects at all scales: public space development, architectural project management, engineering structures, signage, design of objects and furniture, …

Invited to exhibit their work at the Venice Architecture Biennale, their works have been published by several media outlets and publishers specializing in architecture.

Our approach integrates landscape, urban, territorial and architectural dimensions.

Resource optimization and cost control during construction are essential in our projects.

The studio adopts a functional architectural approach, while also being imbued with poetry. We focus on the essentials, seeking to create intelligent and sensitive spaces, where every element is carefully justified.
