Maison et agence
The land is located facing the Seine, along a path of vegetable gardens of long and narrow plots, between the heart of the village and a hill of Champagne vines. It had an orchard at the back that we wanted to preserve at all costs. Constrained by a 15-meter wide plot, the building develops in length, stopping in front of the orchard, while following the movement of the rays of vines, perpendicular to the hill. We implemented a lightweight construction in steel structure. Five bays of 6 meters by 7.5 meters wide covered alternately by transparent polycarbonate and aluminum cladding.
