Logements à Fagnières

Lot No. 57

The land benefits from a situation that is both privileged and complex, the central axis of the subdivision culminates on this lot and the round square gives it a very particular shape. The question raised is how to take advantage of this exceptional situation? How to manage the curve?

We decided to take advantage of it. The curve brings voluptuousness and enlivens this wall pierced by frames of small gardens on the street facade.

There is a three-metre high embankment between the land below and the nearest street. To alleviate this 'break', we are proposing single-storey houses with green roofs, so that they blend in with the ground and fill the gap. The embankment becomes a green landscape for the living areas (lounge/living room/kitchen) while protecting the homes from the wind and outside views.

Patios provide more intimate lighting for bedrooms and bathrooms. They also enrich the living environment of users by diversifying the atmospheres.

Lots No. 81, 80 and 68

These consecutive lots benefiting from an identical exposure encourage us to create a coherent whole along this street. The difficulty is therefore to propose a diversity in coherence. We started from an identical structure that we move slightly both in plan and in altimetry. Each dwelling is located at a different level compared to the others, according to the difference in level of the land. The typologies are repeated, whether they are t3, t4 or t5. The rationality of the design is essential to guarantee a rational project. Thanks to the peripheral location of these lots, we benefit from a widely unobstructed view of agricultural fields on the southwest side. The lounges and living rooms benefit from this privileged view. The kitchens overlook the rear facade (northeast). All the houses benefit from an outdoor space upstairs. The alternation between 'empty' (outdoor space) and 'full' (living space) helps to preserve the privacy of each terrace.
